I Need to Change My Blog Schedule.

Hello!

We adopted a beautiful senior dog named Peggy 3 years ago with her buddy Molly, the cat. Our sweet girl turns 13 today! Happy Birthday Peggy!!

She is one of the great loves of my life, and nothing makes me happier than to be with her. She has had numerous health issues in the last year, including surgery on her larynx, and last fall, she was diagnosed with congestive heart disease, which is getting progressively worse.

She is still her adorable self but is slowing down, and we’ve had many sleepless nights lately, even after giving her a sedative at night. Every day is unpredictable, and we have good and bad days. We will do anything for her, and our #1 priority is to keep her comfortable, but it has taken a toll on my physical and emotional health, and I need to stay well so I can take care of her.

Because of this situation, I need to create space in my schedule. I’m changing my blog's schedule from weekly to biweekly. I love writing my blog and providing information that I hope inspires and motivates you to focus on self-care. They are often time-consuming because I thoroughly research many of the topics. For now, I need to space them out.

I appreciate all of you who read my blog, send comments, and share them with others. I’m very touched by your support.

There will be no blog on Wednesday, May 8th, and my next blog on mental health will be published on Wednesday, May 15th.
